We park in your drive, open the back of the 4x4, and there is a proper espresso bar in your garden for as long as you booked it.
This is the smallest and the nicest thing we do. No run sheet, no production schedule, no facilities manager — just a house full of people who like each other and somebody making them coffee that is markedly better than the pod machine in the kitchen.
It works best at the hinge points of a long day. The hour after lunch when everyone is full and nobody wants to move yet. The end of a birthday dinner, when the choice is a coffee or going home. And, more than anything else we get asked for, the morning after — a house of half-awake guests who came from somewhere else, in a garden, in the sun, before anyone has decided what the day is.
What people book us for
There is no list of approved occasions. If people are coming to your house and you would like there to be good coffee, that is enough of a reason. These are simply the ones that come up most.

- Our own power and water — nothing from your house

There is a minimum spend rather than a minimum headcount: a small party over a long afternoon and a big party over one hour cost about the same.
Villas, fincas, and the drives that put other suppliers off
Half the good houses on this coast are at the end of something awkward: a steep unmade drive above a cala, a farm track through vines, a gate on a bend with two metres of clearance, a village street where nothing longer than a van has ever turned around. A wheeled coffee cart has to be unloaded from a truck and then pushed the rest of the way, which is why it usually ends up in the wrong place, or does not come at all.
We drive in. Send us a location pin and, if it is complicated, a photo of the entrance, and you will get a straight answer about whether we can park where you want us and what we would do if we cannot. Gravel, a slope and a bit of grass are all normal. We would much rather find the problem in a message than in your driveway on a Saturday.
Anywhere on the Costa Brava, and further when it makes sense
Most private bookings are within an hour of Girona — the Empordà, the coast, the Gavarres. Ask about anywhere else and we will tell you honestly whether the travel is worth it for the size of the party.
